Every year EMR helps industries save more than 9,300,000 metric tonnes of carbon-dioxide. That's 17 metric tonnes every minute of every day. So far today we've helped save:

Sustainability strategy

To drive progress towards group-wide net-zero carbon emissions by 2040, we have joined three key initiatives from the internationally respected non-profit, The Climate Group. These include RE100 to accelerate the transition to renewables; EV100 to switch to electric vehicles; and EP100 to improve energy productivity across its global portfolio.

Our Decade of Action

EMR has set a 2030 target to be net-zero for indirect emissions created by the purchase of electricity or steam - defined as Scope 2 emissions under the Greenhouse Gas Protocal. We've called this plan 'Our Decade of Action' and you can download the pdf here.
