For large projects, we provide lifting frames and specialised long weighbridges. This enables us to process locomotives, heavy machinery, boilers, transformers, generators, silos, tanks, bridge sections and gantries.
We densify our material using a range of balers and shears to maximise haulage efficiency and prepare material ready for the furnace or foundry.
By shredding material down to optimum size, we produce a high-quality product whilst re-capturing materials for further processing, which would otherwise be lost.
We operate high-tech shredders for ferrous, non-ferrous and waste electrical equipment. This includes the world's largest mega-shredder which has 10,000 horsepower and can recycle a car every 15 seconds.
Once metals are recovered through shredding, fragments of metal, plastics, foam, glass, aggregates, wood, textiles, rubber and water remain. In order to divert more waste from landfill, we employ our own advanced technology for separation of these materials using several methods, including flotation, magnets, X-rays and hand picking.
