During his time with ELG Jonathan carried out a wide range of roles, with a short spell in 2005 at Heppenstall Metal Company, before stepping up to the Chief Commercial role in 2012.

This experience saw him step into an Operational Director role in 2018.
His new role with EMR will see him responsible for EMR’s UK non-ferrous commercial activity and operations in the Northern Region.
Ian Sheppard, Managing Director of Metal Recycling at EMR shared his delight on these appointments:
“I would like to welcome Jonathan and Matt in to the EMR family. Both bring with them a wealth of experience in the metal recycling industry which will prove invaluable in the years to come.
“The ambitious commitments made in our sustainability strategy, which details our journey to becoming net-zero, can only be achieved with the support and dedication of the teams that they will join.”
