EMR joined forces in March 2019 with Leeds Children’s Charity, which supports young people in need and gives children respite from difficulties they face at home.
EMR provided funding for fourteen children from challenging backgrounds to enjoy a week’s break at Lineham Farm, near Leeds, where children can play, learn new skills, make new friends and relish time away from the difficulties they face. The team at EMR’s Leeds depots took part in a Total Warrior race to raise further funding, which was then match funded by EMR to give a further ten children a week at the farm.
