Local metal recycler EMR, which operates two sites in the Tilbury area - EMR East Tilbury and EMR Tilbury Dock - has continued its long-standing support for the Tilbury Riverside Project with a £2,000 donation to support their flagship event, ‘Tilbury’s Picnic in the Park’.
This much-loved annual celebration, set to take place on Wednesday 6 August, offers a day of fun and togetherness for the local community. The event will feature a fair, music performances, face painting, games, a variety of stalls from small businesses as well as local food and drink vendors.
EMR’s donation will go towards funding the stage, entertainment and first aid services – essential elements that ensure the events remains free, accessible and safe for all members of the community.
