Meet Sam Taylor, Commercial Buyer at EMR. Sam has worked for EMR for over 18 years, having worked in the industry since 1984. He has had many roles in his career including; forklift driver, crane operator and depot Manager. In his current role he is responsible for supporting our existing customers and establishing new partnerships with businesses to help them reach their sustainability goals.
Sam is passionate about supporting his local community in Ashford, Kent and surrounding areas of Rochester and Erith, where he has been instrumental in setting up community partnerships through EMR’s Young Futures Reimagined programme, including Victoria Road Primary School, The Young Lives Foundation and Re-Instate. It is this passion for supporting his community that has also seen him set up recycling initiatives with local schools, where parents, guardians and patrons can donate materials, not only boosting the school's financial resources but helping to teach younger generations about the importance of recycling.
