In front of them, there is a large assortment of donated toys and gifts

EMR, a global leader in sustainable materials, has partnered with North Lanarkshire Council to help make Christmas brighter for the children and young people who are already supported through local care services in Bellshill. The collaboration aims to ensure that every young person receiving care can experience the excitement, warmth and magic of the festive season.

To support the initiative, EMR introduced dedicated collection points across its Bellshill, Glasgow, Glasgow KGV and Kilmarnock sites. Colleagues and customers generously donated a selection of gifts – including this year’s must-have toys, puzzles, books, creative craft kits and cosy winter essentials. Each contribution reflects the team’s commitment to spreading kindness and bringing moments of joy to young people in the community.

Paul Kellington, General Manager for Scotland at EMR, said:

“Supporting our communities is at the heart of what we do. The generosity shown by our teams across Bellshill, Glasgow and Kilmarnock has been incredible. Every gift represents the chance to bring a smile to a child or young person, and we’re honoured to be part of that.

“By working with North Lanarkshire Council, we hope to help ensure every young person feels included, valued and able to enjoy the excitement of the festive season. Even the smallest gift can make a big, meaningful difference.”

The partnership forms part of EMR’s wider commitment to support children and young people all year round and strengthen communities across Scotland as they look to build brighter futures.
