Two of the world’s leading recycling companies EMR and Novelis have come together to give used beverage can (UBC’s) suppliers additional ‘drop off’ locations around the country.
EMR, one of the world’s largest metal recyclers, is now taking deliveries for Aluminium recycling and rolling company Novelis at its depots in Erith, Kent and Brentford, Middlesex following a recently formed partnership.
Speaking of the relationship, Keith Guest, Leader of Scrap Procurement UK UBC at Novelis, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with European Metal Recycling. Their ethos and goals are closely aligned with those of Novelis, and we look forward to a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship.”
EMR has been offering the same service to Novelis suppliers at one of its Sheffield locations for several months now and is delighted to have expanded the service.
