Players from Cromwell Athletic Junior Football Club show off their new strips thanks to sponsor EMR

26 September 2018

Westbrook-based metal recycler, EMR, have sponsored the local club for the next two years.

The club was established in 1996 to provide organised junior football within the Westbrook area of Warrington and now trains over 300 children aged from four to 18-years-old.

U9 Spitfires coach, Steve Davies said: “A big thank you to EMR for the sponsorship. Grassroots football brings huge benefits to children in many ways and I’m delighted that EMR have been able to give some financial support to ensure the team have the kits and training gear they need for the new season. The boys are over the moon with their new kit!”

EMR Marketing and Communications Director, Gareth Williams said: “At EMR we put a great deal of importance on supporting the communities that are close to our sites and we are delighted to be able to support Cromwell Junior Football Club for the next two years.”

The club’s principle training ground is Mary Ann Meadows, Great Sankey.
